What information do we collect about you?

We collect information about you when you register with us, request a quote, or place an order for products or services. We also collect information when you voluntarily complete customer surveys, provide feedback, participate in competitions, or contact us in any form. Website usage information is collected using cookies.

When you register to be a member of our Wisdom review panel, we collect your name, age, gender, address, email address, and oral care preferences.

How will we use the information about you?

We collect information about you to:

  • Process your order for products purchased through our Web Shop (please see the “Web shop and order processing” section below for more details).
  • Manage your account on our website.
  • Respond to any contact you make with us.
  • Investigate feedback and survey submissions.
  • Administer competitions.
  • If you agree, email you about other products and services we think may be of interest to you (see the “Marketing” section below).
  • Personalise your repeat visits to our website.
  • As a member of the Wisdom review panel, use the information to better target you with trialling products suited to your likes and interests, contact you (via email, telephone, or post) regarding trials, and send you products for trialling should you be chosen and agree.

Wisdom Toothbrushes Ltd. will not share your information for marketing purposes with any other companies, except as described in the “Web shop and order processing” section below, where we share necessary information with our trusted partners to fulfil your orders.

We use some third-party services to send you marketing emails and for website analytics. When you purchase through our Web Shop, payment processing is handled by WooPayments, and order dispatch and delivery are managed by Expert Oral Care Limited. These third-party providers will only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

In processing your order, Expert Oral Care Limited (our partner responsible for the Web Shop order fulfilment) may send your details to, and also use information from credit reference agencies and fraud prevention agencies.

Marketing

We would like to send you information about products and services which may be of interest to you. If you have consented to receive marketing, you may opt out at a later date.

As an existing or potential business account of Wisdom Toothbrushes Ltd, we believe you to have a legitimate interest in receiving relevant information about the products and services we provide. You have a right to opt-out at any time.

You have a right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes.

As a member of the Wisdom review panel, you have consented to be contacted and included in future product trials. This is a special form of direct marketing, which intensifies loyalty by providing you with exclusive information and trials on products that may or may not be readily available.

Web shop and order processing

When you make a purchase through our Web Shop, please be aware that the contract for the supply of goods is with our trusted partner, Expert Oral Care Limited (Expert Oral Care, The Silk Mill, Colne Valley Road, Haverhill, England, CB9 8DT).

To process your order, we will share necessary personal information with Expert Oral Care Limited. This information includes your name, address, contact details, and order details. Expert Oral Care Limited requires this information to arrange payment processing (via WooPayments), dispatch, and deliver your order.

Payments for orders placed through the Web Shop are securely processed by WooPayments. We do not directly handle your payment details. Please refer to WooPayments’ privacy policy for information on how they handle your payment data.

Expert Oral Care Limited will use your information to fulfil your order and may also use it for fraud prevention purposes and to comply with their legal obligations. Their use of your information is governed by this Privacy Policy and their own internal procedures in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

How long we store your data for

Whilst we consider you to still be an active customer, we will continue to securely store your data. We will keep your data for 7 years from when we last considered you to be a customer to comply with HMRC.

Whilst we consider you to still be an active member of the Wisdom review panel, we will continue to securely store your data. This will enable us to contact you when we feel a product trial will be of interest to you. We would also like to have the opportunity to contact you upon completion of the trial to obtain feedback or to discuss feedback at a later date. We will automatically delete your personal data at the latest after 24 months of inactivity.

When you contact us to offer feedback or take part in a survey, we will securely store your data for 4 years from the last time you contacted us. This will enable us to investigate and keep track of feedback given.

When taking part in competitions, unless you opt-in to marketing, we will store your data for no longer than 6 months.

Access to your information and correction

You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. We may make a small charge for this service.
